Seoul Runners Festival 2026: October 24 Visitor Guide

Seoul Runners Festival 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, at Culture Square in Yeouido Park, with Seoul Plus 10K, a crew race, a kids’ run, brand activities and performances. If you haven’t booked a race, visitor access needs confirmation before you make a special trip for the activities or stage program.

The September 21 city announcement describes three ways to take part: an individual 10K focused on finishing, a team competition and a shorter family run. Which one fits depends on who you are visiting with and whether you want to run.

More than a 10K race at Yeouido Park

Seoul Plus 10K emphasizes completing the distance at your own pace rather than competing for the fastest time. The planned route starts at Culture Square, goes via Seogang Bridge and returns to Yeouido Park. The final course may change, so follow participant route instructions; this outline is not a course map or a guide to spectator positions.

The crew race is a team event. Four runners each cover 10 kilometers, and their four times are added together for the ranking. Because the announced crew-race fee is KRW 10,000 per person, a Seoul Runners Festival crew should budget for each runner rather than treating it as one team fee. It is not a relay: the distance is per runner, not split between the four. A solo traveler who wants to complete a 10K should look at the individual program; a crew entry means committing with a team.

Away from the races, the festival plans brand activity areas for running and health, plus stage performances, which give non-runners a reason to come.

Running with a child

The kids’ run is a 2.5-kilometer family program, advertised for 250 teams of one guardian and one child. It is about a safe, enjoyable finish, not a fast time. Planned features along the route include bubble zones, smog zones and a Haechi cheering zone. If your child is unsure, those give you something concrete to talk about besides the distance. Ask the organizer how the bubble and smog sections work before applying together.

The kids’ run is a different commitment from the adult 10K: a shorter distance, with one adult running alongside the child. Entry is free for this race program and has its own application; a parent’s individual 10K booking does not count as a family entry.

The early starts are for runners

On October 24, the general and crew 10K programs have a 7:30 a.m. start, with participants gathering at 7 a.m. The kids’ run gathers at 9 a.m. and starts at 9:30 a.m. All times are local Seoul time and refer to the races, not the brand activities or performances.

If you are registered, plan your arrival around the gathering time, not the start. A kids’ run family gathers later, so follow the family program’s instructions, and rely on your booking and participant messages for the program you entered.

Race fees and advance booking

The announced participation fee is KRW 10,000 per person for Seoul Plus 10K or the crew race. The kids’ run is free. These prices cover the named race programs; they don’t establish the cost of visiting the festival’s other activities. For a non-race Seoul Runners Festival visit, plan a map search for Culture Square inside Yeouido Park instead of treating the race start as an activity timetable.

Applications were announced through In the Trail, with places allocated first come, first served. Before planning an early journey to the park, check whether applications are still open for your chosen program: the individual 10K, crew race or kids’ run.

The application screen may look closed until you log in, so a closed-looking screen alone does not show the race is sold out. If you already have a place, your entry details and participant guidance cover the practical points.

Seoul Runners Festival: getting to the right park

The venue is in Yeouido Park, a different park from Yeouido Hangang Park. The festival venue is Culture Square inside Yeouido Park, whose address is 68 Yeouigongwon-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

Visit Seoul’s park guide, updated July 6, 2026, lists Yeouido Station on subway Lines 5 and 9, Exit 3, with a distance of 651 meters to the park. That is a park-access reference rather than a measurement to the festival entrance. For map searches, Culture Square inside Yeouido Park is the specific destination within the larger park.

One check before going without a booking

For festival inquiries, call 070-7725-3460, the number listed on Seoul’s official festival page. For a visit without a race booking, the questions are whether you can enter the brand activity area and watch performances, whether a reservation or payment is required, and when your chosen activity or performance starts.

The September 21 notices leave general visitor charges, reservations, individual booth access and the full activity timetable unclear. English-language support and wet-weather arrangements also need confirmation; foreign-visitor eligibility and payment requirements remain open questions for race applicants. Last checked: October 17, 2026.

Before your visit, open Seoul’s official September 21 festival blog post for the event details and any further guidance.
