Gimhae Airport to Seomyeon by Limousine Bus

Take Busan Airport Limousine 2 from Gimhae Airport if your hotel is convenient to the Seomyeon Lotte Hotel/Department Store stop and you can wait for the next bus. The published adult fare is KRW 6,000 per person, with no cash payment or free transfers.

The bus avoids a rail transfer, but its published interval is 60–80 minutes. The trade-off is waiting for a direct ride, then walking from the stop to your hotel. A Seomyeon address alone tells you little about that final walk with luggage.

Match the Seomyeon stop to your hotel

Limousine 2 is marked Seomyeon/Bujeon. Limousine 1 goes toward Haeundae and Gijang, so the route number and destination distinguish your ride from the other airport limousine service.

From Gimhae Airport, the route runs through Jurye Station and Dongeui University Station before Seomyeon Station, listed as Lotte Hotel/Department Store. It then continues to Bujeon Market and Bujeon Station. If your accommodation is closer to Bujeon, those later stops may suit you better than getting off automatically at Seomyeon.

Your hotel’s exact address is more useful than its neighborhood label. Put it into a map and compare the walking route from the named stop, with your luggage in mind. A direct bus to the neighborhood can still leave you with a walk you would rather avoid.

At Gimhae Airport, separate the ticket point from the platform

The Seomyeon/Bujeon service boards at Platform 3 on the first floor of both the International and Domestic Terminals. The ticket machines are on the first floor at Gate 4. Gate 4 is the ticketing reference; Platform 3 is the boarding reference.

Gray Busan Airport Limousine stop signs help identify the boarding area. The signs in your terminal and the Seomyeon/Bujeon destination are the useful references when finding the queue. Having your hotel address available also helps if you need assistance identifying where to get off.

You can buy a ticket without relying on the app

Ticket machines at Gimhae Airport offer an alternative to advance booking. They are a practical place to start if you have not booked and do not want to depend on app registration after landing.

Advance reservations through the Bustago app produce a QR ticket. If you already have one, have the QR ticket ready for boarding. Seating is unassigned, so the booking does not give you a particular seat number to find onboard.

If you arrive at Gimhae Airport without a booking, there is also a walk-up option: boarding with a transit card or credit card when seats remain. That remaining-seat condition matters if you are traveling together. Establish whether your party can board before deciding to stay in the queue, especially if you need a seat for a child.

The official pages differ in their payment detail: Busan City lists transit and credit cards, while the airport’s English page says credit card only. Cash is not accepted. The ticket machine or boarding staff can confirm the payment methods available for your purchase.

Your particular overseas card may be declined. If payment fails, ask staff which other method they can accept before waiting for the bus.

The published Limousine 2 fares from Gimhae Airport are KRW 6,000 for adults, KRW 4,800 for middle- and high-school students, and KRW 3,000 for elementary-school children. The January 5, 2026 fare change reduced the adult price from KRW 7,500. Any onward public transport needs a separate budget because free transfers do not apply.

Check the next departure before you decide to wait

The published airport service window is 07:20–21:30. The airport’s detailed Seomyeon departure list uses the Domestic Terminal as its reference, while the route calls at the International Terminal first. At Gimhae Airport, use the display or ask staff for the next departure from your own terminal. For a late arrival, compare that departure with when you can reach the platform after arrival procedures and baggage collection, rather than with your flight’s landing time.

The listed 50-minute journey covers the full Bujeon–Seomyeon–airport route in one direction. For your hotel arrival, consider the airport-to-Seomyeon ride, your wait before boarding and the walk after getting off as separate parts of the trip.

Bags, children and a backup connection

The baggage allowance is up to two pieces per passenger, with a combined weight below 30 kg. Both conditions apply: first count the pieces, then check their combined weight. Having two bags meets the piece limit, but their total still needs to be below the weight limit.

Bag size determines where the luggage travels. Carry-on bags can stay with you onboard; bags larger than carry-on size go in the luggage compartment beneath the bus. Keep items you need during the ride in your carry-on bag. For oversized or special items, ask the operator about acceptance before buying a ticket.

One preschool-aged child accompanying a paying adult rides free if the child does not occupy a seat. A child using a seat pays the child fare. For a parent choosing between these arrangements, decide whether the child will use a seat before buying the tickets or asking about remaining seats. The student fares above follow school-level categories rather than international age bands.

If the bus is full or the wait is too long, compare the rail connection. Sasang is the interchange between Busan–Gimhae Light Rail and Metro Line 2. A current route search to your hotel can show the connection to investigate, including departure availability and fare. For a late arrival, check whether the connecting services are still running before heading to the rail station.

Fares, departures and payment arrangements can change. Last checked: October 31, 2026.
