Seoul luggage storage: T-Locker or T-Luggage?

For Seoul luggage storage, choose a T-Luggage counter if you want staff assistance and can return before it closes at 10 p.m. A T-Locker is an option if your bag fits, you can complete on-site identity verification and payment, and its pickup hours suit your plans.

Both options let you leave a suitcase while sightseeing and return to the same place. T-Luggage also offers delivery, but storage is a separate choice: you leave your bag and collect it yourself. For this Seoul luggage storage decision, your return journey matters more than the lowest advertised price.

Seoul luggage storage starts with your pickup time

The T-Luggage counter at Seoul Station is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is on B1, heading from Exit 1 toward Exit 2. These are the counter's hours and location, not those of the KTX concourse or the whole station.

T-Locker hours are 5 a.m.–midnight on weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Storage and retrieval stop outside those hours. Access to the particular locker area also matters when planning collection; a return time with some room for delays is safer than aiming for the final minute.

A return after 10 p.m. rules out the Seoul Station counter under its listed hours. A locker may fit that plan, but neither option provides a basis for planning a pickup after midnight.

What the first four hours cost

The published Seoul luggage storage rates below were checked on October 26, 2026. Seoul Metropolitan Government lists these four-hour base charges; the T-Luggage counter amounts are starting rates. The amount shown before payment is the price to confirm for your bag and stay.

  • T-Locker: small KRW 2,200 on weekdays or KRW 3,100 on weekends; medium KRW 3,300 or KRW 4,600; large KRW 4,400 or KRW 6,100. Extra hourly charges are KRW 500, KRW 800 and KRW 1,000 respectively.
  • T-Luggage: small, up to about 20 inches, starts at KRW 3,000 on weekdays or KRW 4,000 on weekends; medium, 20–23 inches, KRW 4,000 or KRW 6,000; large, 23–27 inches, KRW 6,000 or KRW 9,000; extra-large, 27 inches and above, KRW 9,000 or KRW 13,000. The listed extra charge is KRW 1,000 per hour.

A cheaper compartment only helps if your suitcase fits

Locker size labels and counter size bands describe different things. A small compartment is not a promise that a small suitcase will fit. The actual space needs to accommodate your bag; at the counter, staff can classify a bag near an inch-size boundary.

The four-hour base is also not an all-day Seoul luggage storage price. T-Locker charges the base fee at drop-off, with extra charges possible at collection. The city table separates weekday and weekend prices. For a public holiday or a stay ending partway through an extra hour, the payment screen or staff are the place to check the amount and charging rule.

QR drop-off is different from an app reservation

The current T-Locker operator site describes on-site QR scanning for drop-off and a one-time password, or OTP, for collection. Advance reservations are a separate app-only feature, available up to two hours ahead. Installing an app is therefore not a universal requirement for every walk-up use.

At the locker, the posted instructions and available compartment are the starting point. Where QR access is offered, the process begins with scanning the code and completing identity verification, followed by the payment and storage prompts. Older lockers can have different instructions, so the sequence at that machine takes priority over an assumed set of screens.

Storage is complete only when the process has finished and the door is secured. A saved record of the station, exact locker location and any locker number helps with the return, alongside your payment record and collection details. Keep an issued OTP private: it is for retrieving your bag, not for sharing in a public request for help.

Collection means returning to that same locker and following its prompts, using the OTP where required. The collection screen may show an extra charge for the elapsed storage time. Your collection details remain useful until the bag is back with you.

T-Luggage has an English storage-reservation page, but you can also visit a center to ask about storage. At Seoul Station, the request is storage with collection at the same center, rather than delivery. Your planned return time gives staff the information needed to discuss the collection deadline, along with available space, your bag's size category and the price.

For counter-based Seoul luggage storage, the receipt or collection information requested by staff is part of preparing for pickup. With an online booking, your reservation details let staff check it. A reservation link alone does not establish that a booking or payment has succeeded.

At collection, the counter can ask for that information and confirm any additional storage charge. The final check before leaving the center is that the returned luggage is yours.

If verification, payment or available space stops you

For an overseas visitor, Seoul luggage storage involves more than finding an empty door. T-Locker operates with identity verification and supports payment services such as KakaoPay and Naver Pay. Whether your foreign phone number or overseas-issued card will work remains unconfirmed.

If you cannot finish the process, keep your bag with you. During counter hours, the next option is to ask T-Luggage whether it has space and which payment methods it accepts. The same fallback applies if no compartment is free or your suitcase does not fit.

If a bag is already stored and collection fails, support will need a clear account of the problem. Useful details include the station name, locker location or number, drop-off time, payment record, the step that failed and any message on the screen. Collection information belongs in the official support process, rather than in a public post.

T-Locker service support is available in Korean from 6 a.m.–midnight, year-round, at +82-2-1877-1265 / +82-2-1670-4302. User-related on-site assistance can carry a fee; the charge is a question to raise when requesting help. These are service contacts, not police or ambulance emergency numbers.

Prices, available space and local access can change. Before paying for Seoul luggage storage, the first detail to settle is the latest time you can actually collect your bag at that location. Last checked: October 26, 2026.

Finding your way back

For the journey back to your storage station, Naver Map in English can help with route planning. Your note of the counter or locker location covers the final part of the return: reaching the station is only the first part of finding your bag.
